Florida school districts by enrollment
Of Florida's 74 school districts, 74 have a complete enrollment roll in the 2023-24 release — every one of their schools published a figure. Ranked by that roll, the largest is Miami-Dade with 337,364 students and the smallest is Deaf/Blind with 510.
The figures, 2023-24
A district's enrollment here is the sum of its own schools' published figures, so it can be checked against the school pages. A district with even one withheld school figure has no roll and is excluded from the ranking rather than ranked on a partial sum.

Questions
Which Florida school district is the largest?
Miami-Dade, with 337,364 students summed over its own schools in the 2023-24 release.
Why might a district be missing from the ranking?
None is, in this release: every Florida district has a published figure for every one of its schools, so all 74 are ranked. Where that is not true the district is left out rather than ranked on a partial sum, and the count of omitted districts is shown above.
How is a district's enrollment calculated?
As the sum of the published enrollment of every school naming that district in the federal directory. It is not a separately published district figure, which means it can be reproduced from the school pages on this site.
Method and sources
Every figure on this page is a census over the 2023-24 Common Core of Data, published by the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics. The ranking deliberately omits any district with an incomplete roll rather than ranking it on the schools that did publish. The count of omitted districts is on the page so the ranking states its own coverage. No figure here is imputed, and where a count excludes records the number excluded is on the page.
